The Originals (New Writers) ReviewThis novel really drew me into the lives of the characters. I am terrible at writing reviews, but I had to try, to convince people that this was a book well worth reading. Why did I like the book? I guess for me it was that I really was impressed with the character development. For a relatively short book, I was drawn in very quickly, and to be honest, I read the last half of the book in one sitting. I was just really interested in finding out what happens to everyone. People who I would not recommend the book to are people who don't like "heavy" books, this one gets into violence and some pretty depressing situations, and people who are only into mysterys and very plot-oriented books; this is more of a Trainspotting or Catcher in the Rye type book; just a window into some interesting characters lives.
