Cybernecronautica: Book One - The Creeping Doom ReviewPromising new author! Mr. Vaughn has a wonderful knack for bringing life to his characters. The story was imaginative, engaging, and original. A fan of epic fantasy and long series, I didn't feel the story drug on at all. In fact at the end of the book I was ready to jump right in to the sequel (which hopefully will be out soon ;)). I truly enjoyed the author's writing style and sense of humor. The reason for 3 stars? The first chapter was tough for me. Very quickly I was drawn in to one of the main characters (Tryp), and immediately was hooked. However, I felt that the author `stretched' a little too far past the lines of believability when setting up for the rest of his story. That said though, once past the very small rough patch the rest of the novel is well written.
So, give this author a try. You will enjoy the journey.
p.s. The kindle edition was well formatted.
EDIT: Forgot to mention, the author has a wonderful website that adds much insight into the world he has created in his novel, it's worth your time to check it out! [...].
