This is the best children's book I know and I am a retired third grade teacher.It is the story of two children who enter another world through a tree. They have some scary adventures there involving an evil gray pumpkin. I have an old xeroxed copy from my grandmother's attic and every year I read it aloud to my spellbound students. The last few pages are missing from my copy so I asked the children to create their own endings. I wish that someone would reissue this book so everyone could have access to it at a reasonable price.Knock Three Times (Wordsworth Classics) OverviewMolly is desperately disappointed when, instead of the longed-for silver bangle, her Aunt Phoebe sends her a small, grey, pumpkin-shaped pincushion for her birthday.
