Stanford White: Decorator in Opulence and Dealer in Antiquities ReviewI see no reason why this book should be over $30.00. The quality is that of an inexpensive book. There is nothing much new here. There are plenty of pics, but they are some of the worst B&W historical pics Ive ever seen. There are 4 bad color pics as well. For me the type does not stand out enough since it is printed on a darker paper making it harder to read for eyes over 40. The publisher dropped the ball on this one. His other book, from a different publisher, "Gilded Mansions" is really great though one of my faves on the subject.Stanford White: Decorator in Opulence and Dealer in Antiquities Overview
