Kirby Diamond Edition Home Cleaning System Vacuum Cleaner Refurbished ReviewI bought a new Kirby last year and it does a great job. It has such powerful suction, you can see it almost lift the carpet off the floor. With the auto drive, it is very easy to push on the carpet. You can do it with one finger. It has an attachment for just about any cleaning job you want, including shampooing your carpets.
I guess my biggest complaint is that you need to take off the front part to attach and use the hose. That is really inconvenient when wanting to get at baseboards. You either finish up vacuuming, then change the hose attachment and go around to each room again and do the baseboards. Or you have to change it while in each room and back again.
My second complaint is the weight of the machine. It's heavy for a woman to carry up and down stairs, or to use cleaning the mattress.
